Having worked across broadcasters,
channels, and magazines for over a decade, I am primarily a self-shooting director and have experience in camera operation, editing, colour grading and pre-production.

As well as my production and publishing experience, I am currently in the process of creating a new platform that curates the music and art shaping our time—through live
performances, documentaries, and multimedia features.

This will be a completely independent project: a
space that champions grassroots creativity while also engaging with established artists and
pioneering figures. Hosted primarily on YouTube and a dedicated website, the platform aims
to build a living archive—much like the legacy of someone like John Peel, Mary Anne Hobbs, Nardwuar and The
Needle Drop—that reflects the depth, diversity, and direction of contemporary culture.

At the heart of this platform is a careful balance: to spotlight new and emerging talent,
celebrate the pioneers who paved the way, and include more established voices. By holding
space for each of these layers, I’m able to trace how genres are evolving, colliding, and
influencing one another—both in sound and in visual art.

This has been my guiding philosophy over the past 12 years of filming, curating, and editing a
magazine: to strike a meaningful balance between showcasing new talent, celebrating pioneers,
and featuring more established artists. In doing so, I’m able to trace the evolution of genres and
highlight the connections—sonic and visual—that emerge between generations and creative
movements.
